Supporters are set to gather on his birthday in hopes of bringing awareness to Prentice's wrongful conviction case. Or as some has dubbed, "Kidnapped by the State." Imagine being assaulted in your own home by someone and then being convicted for defending yourself. AND receiving LIFE plus 25 years as punishment. IT'S NOT FAIR. Prentice Ponds will spend his 49th birthday in an Oklahoma Correctional Facility because and ex-officer with power was given the liberties to charge him, even after the Police Department investigated the situation but concluded Prentice Ponds was NOT in the wrong for defending himself in that situation.
