About Lewis T. Wilson
Lewis Wilson is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. Studying at an all-Black high school presented him with a valuable opportunity to learn about the real history that isn’t taught in most other public schools.
He enrolled at Northeastern Oklahoma State University in 1972 for his bachelor’s degree. Later, he received post-graduate business education at the University of Tulsa and the University of Central Oklahoma.
During his education, Mr. Lewis T. Wilson emerged as a student leader. As an Alpha Phi Alpha man, he used to criticize racial discrimination and participated in on-campus and off-campus activities to promote diversity and inclusion.
After graduation, he had a successful career as a marketing professional in the telecommunications and data communication industry that spanned around 30 years. Since his retirement, he has been serving at local community centers.
Currently, he is the Community Center Director where he is keen to promote physical and educational activities for the youth.

Mr. Lewis Wilson’s parents are survivors of the Tulsa Race massacre. He was always intrigued by the events and how no one could discuss the true events due to KKK’s threats.
