Christian Phifer – A Life Well-Lived

“It is not the years in your life that count, it is the life in your years.”

Edward J. Stieglitz

Christian Stefan Phifer’s life was an example of achievements and kindness. The young man left the world too soon, but he made the most of 13 years of his life and his legacy remains.

When we think of Christian, we remember his beautiful smile and his willingness to help out others around him. Ever since he was a kid, he loved giving hugs and spreading happiness and smiles with his presence. It was his friendly personality that made him stand out.

Funeral Services

Christian’s family, relatives, friends, and teammates sent goodbye to him in tears on October 9th at his funeral services. Hundreds of people came together to honor and celebrate the life of Christian Phifer and the attendees spoke very highly of him.

Christian left this world on October 5th. The services were officiated by his cousin, Joe “Kicker” Thomas who was fond of Christian and always rooted for him.

He remembered Christian as:

“He was a talented individual and an all-round person who was so helpful, kind, genuine, loving, and compassionate towards others.”

Angela Phifer spoke on behalf of Christian’s great-aunt Pat Bannister and sent prayers.

   Old Testament Reading

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not be in want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

(Psalm 23 – King James Version)

  New Testament Reading

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

(Romans 8:38-39)

His friends, coaches, teachers, and peers remembered their unforgettable memories with Christian and talked about his contagious smile and fighting spirit. His biggest fan – his father thanked everyone in attendance for their support and prayers for the Christian and his family.

The Remarkable Life of Christian Phifer

Christian Phifer had a close relationship with his father Stevan and sister Stevani Phifer. He loved spending time with his family and knew how to make memories. Also, he was attached to his relatives in Broken Arrow and looked forward to spending time with his grandma, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Fondly called “Love Chop” by his family and friends, Christian was a sports guy. He fell in love with sports at a very young age and amazed everyone with his skill and talent in basketball, football, high jump, long jump, and more.

He was close to his father who also coached his sports teams and guided him to become a professional athlete. Ryder Godwin, Noah Bevans, and Jayden Rogers are among some of his close friends who fondly shared their memories during the service.

Christian Stefan Phifer was an all-rounder in almost every aspect of his life. Be it his relationship with his family, friendship with his close friends, kindness towards everyone around him, or his love for animals, his memories remain with us.

“Love Chop” left the world at 13 years, but he gave his family and friends memories that will be cherished forever.

We send prayers and love to Christian and condolences to his survivors. May his beautiful soul rest in peace!
