National Entertainment for the 2nd Annual Winter Gala

The Greenwood Chamber of Commerce is all set for the upcoming 2nd Annual World Class Winter Charity Gala. Now organizers have announced the national entertainment lineup for the much-anticipated event.

National R&B Music Group Silk will add colors to the event. Moreover, the well-known R&B Singer, Urban Mystic, will also bring entertainment.

2nd Annual Winter Gala
The World Class Winter Charity Gala is the largest annual fundraiser for the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce. Its purpose is to celebrate people who played a role in uplifting Greenwood District and give back to the community.

The proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the organization’s effort to supporting local businesses as well as preserving the historic district.

Tulsa Greenwood Chamber of Commerce organized the first annual winter event in 2021. The event was a massive success and more than 500 guests attended the fun activities. So, GCC has planned the event this year too.

The annual winter gala brings the following activities for guests:
Cocktail hour starts at 5 PM
Silent auction/Pick a project at 5 PM
Dinner and video presentations at 6:30 PM
Telethon challenge at 7:30 PM
Awards ceremony at 7:45 PM
R&B concert with SILK and Urban Mystic at 9:15 PM
Stellar VIP party at 11 PM
The event will start at 5 PM on Saturday, December 17th, 2022. Further, the event venue is International Ballroom in DoubleTree Hotel, Tulsa Downtown, 616 W. 7th Street Tulsa, Ok 74137.

Greenwood Chamber of Commerce dedicates its efforts to supporting local-owned businesses. Also, the organization has a special focus on promoting women-owned and minority businesses.

The Greenwood district was once known as the Black Wall Street due to a myriad of successful black-owned businesses operating in the area. GCC aims to stay true to the legacy and help rebuild black-owned and women-led businesses.

This is why the administration has set the tradition to arrange a winter gala every year where business vendors can showcase their products by donating for the Silent Auction.

Greenwood Chamber of Commerce Faces Fire Threats from Tenant  Staff Writer Greenwood Chamber of Commerce has been repeatedly receiving fire threats from disgruntled tenant. This aggressive behavior against the non-profit organization has affected its operations, making it difficult for the administration to support local businesses. Why Fire Watch Was Issued Devin Williams, the owner of DW Speak Easy, recently filed a report against the Chamber.
