10th Black Wall Street Heritage & History 2023 Festival

10th Black Wall Street Heritage & History 2023 Festival
This year's theme is Young Gifted and Black

We celebrate Black History Month by showcasing the many talents we have in Tulsa on Saturday, February 4, 2023, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Speakers from our community will update us on community happenings.

Our special guest is Tanya Wilson.  Our talent this year focuses on our young gifted children in the community. Our Vendors will showcase and present what they have to offer our community. We will have dancers, spoken word, poetry, drum circle, singers, and lots of entertainment from our community.

We will have a fashion show by Sugar Chic Glam - Leatrice Parker. We always, at every festival, feed the village with a soul food menu. This year's menu is fried corn, beans & cornbread, smothered chicken with African yellow rice, old fashion Mac and cheese, green beans and potatoes, candied yams, dessert and drink.

Our host is Lakita Parker, Co- host is Ashlee Dorsey and DJ Hitman with the sound. We will have a raffle so get your tickets now. There will be lots of prizes given away, all you have to do is answer Black history questions. There will be line dancing so everyone could participate.

This will be a great festival where we have fun, fellowship, and conversate with our Community. The festival will be at the newly renovated Historic Big 10 Ballroom at 1624 E Apache St.. From 11am till 6pm.

Donations to this festival will go toward the Community Pride Children Garden School, teaching our children how to grow their own food in the deserted Community of North Tulsa. It takes a village to raise a child, so come and support your very own Community.
Please consider making a monetar donation via CashApp to: $blackwallstmarket

Looking forward to seeing you there!
