GCC Hosted the African American Chamber of Commerce from Stockton California The African American Chamber of Commerce from Stockton California, CEO Paulette Amous-Gross, some staff and members visited the Greenwood on Saturday, January 28, 2023. The Greenwood Commerce Chamber welcomed the group. They had a tour of the premises, broke bread together, and discussed the importance of the Black Chambers of Commerce. The touring group talked about how they are supporting the African American community and promoting commerce and industry for the economic growth of San Joaquin County. What inspired us was their positive mindset and their interest in rebuilding Black Wall Street. The Chamber of Commerce team made a donation for rebuilding and supporting businesses in Black Wall Street that were lost to the massacre of 1921.
